  • For students currently enrolled in college classes. Proof of registration must be mailed or emailed to DTC before the admission code will be sent.

The Desert Tortoise Council is offering a lecture course, in two half-day sessions (not available separately),  to provide information on the biology of desert tortoises and the requirements and techniques used for monitoring and surveying. Details can be found at the Introductory Tortoise Course Page on the DTC website. The dates of the course are October 29 (noon - 6PM) & 30 (9AM - 3PM), 2021. The course will be online only via a Zoom webinar. There will be NO field component although fully paid registrants will be allowed to register for the Field Techniques for the Mojave Tortoise, outdoor only field workshop on November 5 OR 6 if spaces are available.
